In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing electrical systems that power innovative projects. You'll collaborate with engineers and project managers to create schematics, layouts, and system designs that meet industry standards and client specifications. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our projects while ensuring safety and efficiency.

What you'll do

Design and develop electrical systems using AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation to create detailed schematics and layout designs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical components into larger systems. Utilize Bluebeam and NavisWorks for project coordination, ensuring accuracy in design reviews and construction documentation. Conduct thorough drafting of electrical wiring diagrams and PCB layouts to support manufacturing processes. Implement NEC (National Electrical Code) standards in all designs to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Analyze system design requirements for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other electrical devices. Engage in construction support activities, providing guidance on installation practices and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering to continuously enhance your skills.

Basic qualifications

Proficient in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Creo for effective design execution. Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles related to system design and layout creation.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their applications in system design. Familiarity with construction processes related to electrical installations. Strong attention to detail with a passion for drafting high-quality schematics.
