Job Description

We are a well-established electrical contractor with over 35 years in business, specializing in residential, commercial, and low voltage electrical systems. We are seeking an Electrical Designer to support a wide range of projects from concept through construction. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects in a stable, long-standing company that values quality, collaboration, and practical design solutions.

Responsibilities:

Clean up CAD drawings to meet company standards and create electrical and lighting designs based on project specifications. Develop lighting layouts and perform lighting calculations, including photometric analysis. Create one-line riser diagrams and design circuiting for light fixtures and electrical devices in CAD. Perform voltage drop and load calculations to ensure compliance and safety.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of residential and/or commercial electrical drafting experience. Proficient in AutoCAD and able to read and interpret electrical drawings. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, devices, and equipment. Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
