Location:

Windsor, CT

Shifts Available:

1st Shift:

6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

2nd Shift:

3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (includes 7% shift differential)

airport ground support equipment

as an

Electrical Assembler

at our Windsor, CT facility. In this hands-on position, you'll help build large mobile power and air conditioning units--about the size of a compact car--that provide essential electrical and environmental support to aircraft on the ground.

You'll assemble, wire, and test complete electrical systems from start to finish, working directly from detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints. This is a full-build role, not repetitive assembly-line work.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Pay:

$20-$22/hour (based on experience)

Shift Differential:

+7% for 2nd shift

Annual Bonus:

Up to 10% of yearly earnings

Union Eligibility:

After 180 days

Wage Growth:

$2-$3/hour raise potential upon permanent hire

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and wire complete electrical systems for mobile ground support units Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation Install switches, panels, control devices, and connectors using standard tools Perform soldering, crimping, and wire routing to ensure clean, secure connections Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to verify functionality and compliance Work collaboratively on full-unit builds from start to finish Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of

electrical assembly, wiring, or related experience

Skilled in using

hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical test equipment

Ability to read and follow

schematics and wiring diagrams

accurately Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work around large equipment Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork mindset High school diploma or equivalent required
