THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION: Under the general supervision of the Director of the Company's Apprenticeship Program, the applicant must demonstrate mastery of current technical application skills as an experienced Electrician.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Instruction: Delivering both theoretical and practical training in electrical principles, ensuring alignment with NCCER standards.
Curriculum Development: Creating and updating course materials to reflect current industry practices and compliance requirements.
Assessment: Evaluating student progress through assignments, practical tests, and hands-on demonstrations.
Compliance: Ensuring all training activities adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
Student Support: Providing mentorship and guidance to students pursuing careers in the electrical field.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Must be able to teach:
NCCER - Core, Electrical Levels 1 - 4
Electrical Safety and the National Electrical Code
Electrical Residential, Commercial, Light industrial, and/or industrial
PLC and Energy management systems a plus
Inventory management
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: A minimum of five years in the electrical trade, with hands-on experience in various electrical systems.
Certification: Active NCCER certification as an instructor, or the willingness to obtain it upon hiring.
Education: Relevant technical certifications or a degree in electrical technology is preferred.
Skills: Strong communication and organizational abilities, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
