What you'll do

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately. Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment to ensure systems are functioning correctly. Collaborate with experienced electricians to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions efficiently. Gain exposure to the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards while assisting in compliance checks. Participate actively in frame carpentry tasks as needed, enhancing your versatility on the job site. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.

Basic qualifications

Previous electrical experience or coursework related to the electrical field is preferred.

Preferred qualifications

Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety practices. Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems is advantageous. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters. Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively for project execution.
