At El Gaucho Boise, hosts are essential to our front-of-house operations. You'll manage guest arrivals, coordinate seating, and ensure smooth communication between guests and the service team. This fast-paced role requires energy, professionalism, and strong multitasking abilities in a fine dining environment.
Daily responsibilities:
Welcoming guests with authentic hospitality
Assisting with coats and personal belongings
Escorting guests to tables and presenting menus
Answering calls and managing reservations professionally
Communicating guest needs to the service team
Supporting the Lead Host with accurate table management
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of restaurant experience
Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
Compensation: $16 hour/ plus tips (training wage $16 hour)
