Bookeeper

As our Bookkeeper, you'll review and analyze accounting records to prepare accurate financial statements and deliver insights that support informed financial decision-making.



Primary Responsibilities


Deliver exceptional service to guests and team members Reconcile and balance staff turn-in reports and commissions, verify discounts and house charges for accuracy, and report variances to the General Manager Maintain comprehensive recordkeeping systems for payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related accounting filings Ensure accuracy of cash balances for tills, petty cash, and safe Process accounts payable and review purchases for proper coding and entry into the accounting system Reconcile financial transactions with our separately owned hotel, including catering, events, and room charges Oversee maintenance, tracking, and accuracy of our loyalty program Review and maintain personnel records in the POS system, assist with employee recordkeeping, and ensure all termination, rate change, and new hire documentation is current and complete Support HR with benefits administration and payroll processes Maintain and publish financial reporting spreadsheets Assist with phone coverage and guest reservations as needed Meet or exceed all deadlines Complete additional projects and duties as assigned

Required Qualifications


Restaurant bookkeeping experience required Demonstrated experience with accurate cash handling and sales reconciliation Successful completion of a background check (required before job offer)
