Responsibilites:

Tutor/support students in all academic areas Administer make-up tests Monitor student progress and keep records Complete various clerical work as assigned Confer with supervising teachers Be responsible for some supervisory duties (lunch, recess)(varies at each site) Various duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school education or equivalent Some post high training in education preferred Works well with children Comfort level with lower and upper elementary verbal & math skills Basic competency in computer skills Resourceful & creative to proved adaptations for students Self-starter High energy Ability to adjust to daily changes in task schedule Adapts well to a variety of tasks Strong planning and organizational skills Problem-solving and decision making ability Team player
