JOB SUMMARY:
This position plays a vital role in ensuring the effective planning, implementation, and management of the organization's Head Start program by providing financial and administrative support.
The Education Grants & Operations Manager supports the Director of Education in strategic planning, grant writing, implementation of policies and procedures, and alignment with Head Start Program Performance Standards & MN Childcare Licensing Standards. This role contributes to program quality improvement, system development, data collection and analysis, maintenance and pursuit of funding opportunities. This position does not include direct classroom management or the supervision of teaching staff but works closely with program leaders to ensure operational excellence and the achievement of program outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Minimum: Associates or Two Year College Degree in Business, Accounting, Non-Profit Management, Social Services, or related field.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree Associates or Two Year College Degree in Business, Accounting, Non-Profit Management, Social Services, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum: more than 1 year experience
Authorizations:
DHS Background Study
Employee Health Certification within 90 days of hire
Valid Driver's License or access to reliable transportation
MVR Approval for use of agency vehicles
