Overview:

We are seeking a full-time

EDI Analyst

in our Olathe, KS location. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Garmin EDI group by troubleshooting Data, Mapping issues in the EDI processes and maintaining IBM Sterling Integrator.
Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

Design, develop, customize, integrate, test, implement, administer and support the complete GIS B2B suite to meet the rapidly growing company need Create, test, and maintain EDI maps Establish and maintain trading partner relationships Troubleshoot data issues, mapping, and business processes Identify, design, implement, and test EDI processes related to Oracle eBusiness Suite Coordinate with internal and external customers to meet requirements Write or update program documentation, operations documentation, and user guides Create test cases and assist EDI developers & business to thoroughly test new development work including repeating the test cycle until all test results are satisfactory Gather and document detailed requirements for business needs and collaborate with others to determine moderately complex functional and/or solution designs Demonstrate a detailed understanding and execution of the software development lifecycle Demonstrate proficiency with troubleshooting and research tools (i.e. myOracleSupport, e-TRM, Implementation Guides, etc.) to perform complex to moderately complex troubleshooting Identify interdependencies in programs Identify more advanced test scenarios and adequately test customizations and configurations Demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organization Responsible for planning small/medium-sized projects or tasks Make substantial contributions to determining the feasibility of goals/objectives Provide reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem-solving techniques including the ability to find the root cause and corrective action for given problems Serve as a mentor to less experienced Application Analysts (Application Analyst 1) Demonstrate proficient use and knowledge of established standards and procedures Consistently demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organization Understand change is important and adapt well Professionally approach situations in which conflict is present

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or another relevant field

AND

a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

OR

an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Excellent academics with the demonstrated ability to apply learned knowledge Demonstrated experience in successful implementation of technology solutions Demonstrated understanding of the use of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Familiarity with communication protocols such as FTP and/or AS2 Experience with EDI in an Oracle eBusiness Suite environment Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a large team or departmental setting

Desired Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in IBM Sterling Integrator Support and Administration. Experience with EDI in an Oracle eBusiness Suite or similar ERP environment Basic understanding of Java, PL/SQL Basic understanding of VDA Standards for AOEM Industry
