Smyth Auto Parts is a privately held automotive aftermarket company, owned and operated by the Smyth family since it was founded by George Smyth over 60 years ago. Today this family-owned operation now owns and operates 18 auto part retail locations, 8 paint centers and 5 warehouse distribution centers serving Greater Cincinnati, Columbus, Northern and Central Kentucky, Nashville Tennessee, and Indianapolis Indiana.

We are in search of an Ecommerce Specialist to oversee all facets of online platforms to sell our inventory of wholesale/aftermarket auto parts and supplies. Ensuring the e-commerce platforms operate smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce, knowledge of auto parts, and a proven track record in driving growth within online store(s). Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platforms, keeping it visually appealing and user-friendly.
  • Work on all aspects of selling online, including listing, updating, and maintaining product listings.
  • Maintain a high score of positive feedback on each e-commerce platform.
  • Implement pricing and promotional strategies that enhance sales and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling product listings and optimize product pages.

Customer Experience:
  • Prioritize the delivery of an exceptional customer experience by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing outstanding support.
  • Monitor and respond to customer reviews and feedback to enhance satisfaction.
Sales Growth:
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth within each e-commerce platform.
  • Develop and execute strategies to boost online sales, including cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
Order Fulfillment and Shipping:
  • Oversee the order fulfillment process, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with shipping and logistics partners to optimize delivery times and costs.
  • Develop and manage returns and exchange processes with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Analytics and Reporting:
  • Leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions and track essential performance indicators.
  • Provide regular reports on online sales, customer behavior, and other relevant metrics.
Key Qualifications:
  • Proficient in listing and editing products on e-commerce platforms (Ebay/Sophio).
  • Possesses strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Has strong internet and computer skills.
  • Has prior experience in listing products online.
  • Has at least 3 years of experience in maintaining online marketplaces.
  • Demonstrates a detail-oriented and organized approach to work.
  • Possesses excellent multitasking abilities.
Associate\'s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in e-commerce, ideally with Ebay/Sophio.
  • Strong understanding of online retail platforms and e-commerce best practices.\xc2\xb7
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and digital marketing is a plus.
