E-Commerce Paid Advertising Specialist
The E-commerce Paid Advertising Specialist will lead and execute paid advertising campaigns across various platforms to drive traffic, sales, and brand visibility for our ecommerce business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paid media strategy, including paid search (PPC), paid social, display advertising, and retargeting efforts. You will work across teams to ensure that all campaigns align with business goals, delivering maximum ROI and sustained growth.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Paid Advertising Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive paid advertising strategies across key channels such as Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms to drive traffic and increase conversions.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, launch, and manage paid search, display, social, and retargeting campaigns, ensuring that all campaigns are effectively targeting the right audiences with high-performing ads.
  • Budget Allocation & Optimization: Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly ad spend and budget management, making real-time adjustments to optimize for performance and profitability.
  • Audience Segmentation: Utilize customer data and insights to segment audiences and create targeted campaigns that drive engagement and conversion at all stages of the customer journey.
  • A/B Testing & Performance Optimization: Continuously test and optimize ad copy, creatives, landing pages, and bidding strategies through A/B testing to improve overall ad performance and ROI.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Regularly monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing insights into key metrics (e.g., CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS) to senior leadership and making data-driven recommendations for ongoing improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Ecommerce, Creative, and Content teams to ensure ad creative aligns with overall brand messaging and product initiatives, and to ensure that landing pages and other assets are optimized for conversions.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in ecommerce paid advertising, identifying new opportunities and optimizing existing strategies.
  • Customer Journey Focus: Ensure paid advertising campaigns complement the broader customer experience by driving qualified leads and helping to move prospects through the sales funnel.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce paid advertising, including experience with platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram, YouTube and display networks
  • DTC Ecommerce experience required
  • Demonstrated experience with budgeting, performance tracking, and optimizing campaigns for profitability
  • Strong analytics skills with proficiency in Google Analytics, advertising platform reporting tools, and data interpretation.
  • Knowledge of customer segmentation and customer journey mapping
  • A Data-drive mindset with focus on testing, optimization and continuous improvement
  • Should enjoy solving complex problems and are able to work independently
  • Stay up-to-date on standards, best practices and current strategies
  • Highly effective communication skills
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to write technical documentation & interpret business requirements
  • Real-time problem-solving
