Our campus is located at 1601 Maple Street, Carrollton, GA 30118.


Faculty and staff members are expected to be physically present on campus as needed to support the in-person educational experience and on-campus vitality at the University of West Georgia. Depending upon teaching assignments and student demand, this could include the Carrollton or Newnan campuses.


Job Summary

The eCampus Budget Analyst Intermediate is responsible for assistance in managing and overseeing the financial operations of eCampus. This role supports departmental leadership by developing and monitoring budgets, tracking expenditures, and providing financial analysis to ensure the effective use of resources. The analyst prepares and sends invoices and faculty payments, forecasts budget performance, and assists with annual budget planning and revisions. This position also ensures compliance with university financial policies and procedures and may coordinate with other departments and partnering institutions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to translate financial data into actionable insights to support departmental goals and academic mission.


Responsibilities

Budget Tracking & Reporting-



The Budget Analyst is responsible for monitoring weekly departmental spending, maintaining up-to-date budget tracking tools, and preparing regular financial reports for leadership. This role supports strategic planning by compiling and analyzing financial data to assist in future growth and resource allocation for eCampus.

Invoice Management and Reconciliation-



This position ensures the accurate entry of all invoices into the SmartSheet tracking system and reconciles incoming payments from partner institutions. The Analyst will also generate and distribute account statements and past-due notices to affiliate partners in a timely manner.



Purchasing and Expense Reconciliation-



The Budget Analyst assists with the purchasing process and ensures accurate reconciliation of departmental expenses. This includes processing purchases for registrations, memberships, subscriptions, and software, while ensuring compliance with procurement guidelines.



Student Success Team-



All eCampus team members contribute to student success initiatives. This includes participating in student outreach such as call cycles and responding to at-risk support tickets to ensure a high level of service. Other duties as assigned. Performs additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by leadership to support departmental goals.

Bachelors Degree in a related field (i.e., Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics); 2+ years in Higher Education finance.


Proposed Salary

$54,000 - $58,000 Annually. Paid on a Monthly Basis.
