Job Description


General Purpose:
The E-Billing Specialist is responsible for processing and submitting monthly invoices for electronically billed clients through third-party vendor sites using full knowledge and understanding of the accounting software. position will support the administration and management of electronic billing processes for all e-billed clients. This position will also assist in coordinating technology functions, upgrades, and enhancements for the Client Accounting team as it relates to E-Billing Platforms and Prebill Manager. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Processes electronically billed invoices for specific attorneys or clients as assigned.
  • Responsible for setting up clients migrating to electronic billing for all vendor third-party sites and Aderant eBillingHub.
  • Monitors invoice validation, approval, reductions, and rejections of e-billed invoices to ensure full payment of invoices.
  • Responsible for updating e-billing data, such as budgets, rates, timekeepers, and disbursement mapping.
  • Assists with implementation of enhancements and troubleshoots electronic billing issues.
  • Communicates e-billing guidelines and updates to the billing team and ensures compliance with all e-billing guidelines.
  • Assists with Aderant eBillingHub setup \xe2\x80\x93 using specifically for tracking requirements by client.
  • Assists collection team with follow-up on aged invoices submitted electronically, including research of short-paid invoices.
  • Assists attorneys/assistants with training on Prebill Manager.
  • Meets with attorneys/assistants to discuss electronic billing processes as needed.
  • Assists with testing and training for Aderant and Prebill Manager upgrades and related software. Attends vendor software user group meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certification):
  • At least three years hands-on e-billing experience in a law firm or professional services firm \xe2\x80\x93 experience with eBillingHub preferred
  • Associates Degree in Business or High School Diploma and 2 additional years of experience
  • Requires analytical skills to apply knowledge to practical situations and the ability to foresee problems and effect solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and good proofreading skills.
  • Above average typing and ten key skills, and proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, and ability to work effectively with various levels within the firm and vendors.
  • Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment and successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands
  • Requires dependability, accepting a wide variety of assignments with a positive attitude and team spirit.
  • Requires absolute confidentiality and discretion.

Physical Requirements:

CO Salary Range - $26.15 - $43.58. A discretionary bonus may be available based upon performance.
