We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Learning Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods as appropriate.
Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children from toddlers through preschool age.
Assess individual child progress through observations and standardized testing when applicable; adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Support children with special needs through early intervention techniques and tailored instructional approaches.
Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation, respect, and social skills among children.
Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate progress, address concerns, and support child welfare initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and lesson plans in compliance with licensing standards.
Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, classroom management, and curriculum updates.
Skills
Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
Experience with curriculum development across various domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and special education.
Proficiency in classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and engagement.
Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds including toddlers, preschoolers, and children requiring special intervention.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and community partners.
Familiarity with standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment.
Experience working in daycare settings or private schools is preferred; Montessori training or experience is a plus.
