Job Description

Bright Start is currently seeking a full-time Early Interventionist to work in the

Greenville County

areas. Early Interventionists provide developmental instruction and service coordination to parents and caregivers, as well as their children, who have developmental delays and/or special needs. We support families in helping children reach developmental milestones by building on the strengths of the family and child through home visits and individualized family training.

Minimum requirements for interested candidates are a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Education, Psychology, or a related field, along with 1 year of professional experience working with children from birth to 3 years of age or children ages 3- 5 with disabilites or special needs. Please include your birth to three experience on your resume.

Responsibilities and Duties

Educate and coach families on effective strategies to help their child reach developmental milestones and improve daily routines. Assist the family in understanding the special needs and development of their child. Perform Family Training with the caregiver and child in their home or daycare setting. Provide Service Coordination to meet the needs of the child and the family.

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
