Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Implement lesson plans that align with the creative curriculum and NYS preschool standards
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
- Provide individualized instruction to students who may need additional support.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students.

Requirements:



French Speaking preferred but not required

-Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or currently on Study Plan for Master's in early childhood education


- Experience working with children in a preschool setting.


- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.


- Knowledge of current educational practices and technology.


- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.



Note: Experience in daycare / preschool setting required.

Monday-Friday full time schedule with paid holidays and school breaks, flexible hours if you are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Early Childhood.



We are a small bilingual French/ English preschool located on the Upper West Side

Summary



As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be instrumental in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young learners. Reporting to the Preschool Director, your role involves implementing lesson plans and managing classroom activities while utilizing your strong communication skills and experience with children. With a focus on early childhood education, you will engage in curriculum development and behavior management to support each child's growth.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 per hour
