Early Childhood Primary Care Provider

Liberty Classical Academy is a Christian, classical Preschool-12th grade private school with two locations in White Bear Lake and Hugo, MN, and we are adding to our tremendous team! We are seeking a warm, organized, and dependable individual to serve as the Primary Care Provider, it is a key role supporting our Early Childhood program at our Hugo campus.

Responsibilities

As the Primary Care Provider, you'll take on a leadership role within our early childhood classroom at our Hugo campus, especially when the Early Childhood Lead is offsite. You'll guide daily activities, ensure a safe and nurturing environment, support administrative tasks, and help maintain licensing requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, values organization, and is looking to grow in a supportive, faith-based community.



Daily Program Leadership:


Lead Little Lions classroom activities: gym time, crafts, storytime, free play, and recess Supervise children and ensure a safe, engaging environment Support or lead emergency drills (fire, storm, etc.) Perform regular safety inspections (e.g., cribs and pack-n-plays)

Administrative & Program Support:


Act as point of contact when the Lead is unavailable Help manage licensing documentation and classroom records Communicate with parents about schedule updates and drop-in requests Coordinate substitute coverage when needed Support planning and delivery of age-appropriate lesson plans Oversee student check-in/check-out process

Qualifications

Age 18+ Prior experience caring for ages 0-3 years. Completed or willingness to complete state required training and certifications. Embrace a Christ-centered program that cares for the child with initiative, creativity, and energy. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to interact with students, parents, faculty, and administrators with strong, interpersonal competency.
