Responsibilities:

Associate/Assistant Teachers: Support classroom activities, supervision, meals, toileting, prep, and cleaning. Lead Teachers: Plan lessons, ensure safety, complete observations, support routines and development. Directors: Oversee staffing, scheduling, programming, compliance, and daily operations; mentor and support teachers.
NH Requirements (Condensed):

Assistant Teacher: 16+ Associate Teacher: 18+, HS/GED + 9 ECE credits (3 in Child/Human Dev) or Para II Lead Teacher: 18+, 18 ECE credits (3 Dev) + 1000 hrs ECE or CDA or5 yrs home provider Director: 21+, HS/GED, 3 credits (Supervision/Management) + degree orCDA + 3000 hrs
VT Requirements (Condensed):

Assistant Teacher: 18+, HS/GED + Career Ladder 1/2 orCDA + 12 mos exp Associate Teacher: 20+, HS/GED + Career Ladder 3 orrelevant associate's Lead Teacher: 20+, HS/GED + Career Ladder 4A/4B orrelevant bachelor's Director: 21+, Teacher Associate + Director Step 1 ormgmt + curriculum courses
