Summary

Building Kidz School is searching for individuals who truly love working with young children. We have SEVERAL opportunities, including full time, or part-time AM or PM shifts (Lead, Assistant Teacher, or Support Staff, as well as a Supervising Closer). Our business hours are 7:00-5:30. We are located in the East End of Louisville, just off the Gene Snyder at Lake Forest.

Each staff member is a member of the teaching team at our center. We look for candidates who are nurturing, experienced observers of children with a keen eye for learning opportunities. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented and open to a variety of opportunities to engage with our infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Experience preferred but we are happy to train if you have a "can-do" attitude!

Duties

Duties of the role include hands-on care of children, helping them achieve developmental milestones. Our curriculum includes lots of music and movement, so a love of the performing arts is a plus. We are always looking for individuals who want to grow in their career and will happily assist you with your career path.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, clean background check, negative tb test required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the Early Childhood Education field preferred. Preference given to those with ECE education, including CDA. A love of performing arts a plus!

We offer two weeks of vacation-the week of Christmas and the week of July 4th, plus 6 additional Holidays. We hold 3 In-Service Days for training and time together with just the team, and we provide a subscription to CCEI, a website that offers a wide variety of ECE courses. Training time is paid with a bonus for early completion of the annual 15-hour state requirement.
