Job Description

We are currently seeking a DWDM Network Engineer for an Onsite opportunity in Downtown -Denver, CO. Responsible for the day to daybreak/fix activity of monitoring, troubleshooting and correcting problems on a customer owned DWDM Network.

***Must be U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder to be considered*** Length: 6+ month (temporary to hire opportunity) Hours: We have 2 shifts Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat and 2 schedules 7 am-5 pm and 2pm-12 am. Initial training period will be M-F 8-4. Industry: Telecommunications Responsibilities:

• Ensuring network reliability, availability, compliance with customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs), scheduling, preparing and actioning network maintenance requirements.
• Coordinates, monitors, and tracks customers global Optical Network including Incident Management, repair, and maintenance, opening, and closing incidents, preventive maintenance, and resolution of customer issues.
• Works closely with customers Network Development, Engineering, Operations, Product Development, and Account Team personnel to ensure network reliability, customer satisfaction and support other functional teams to
• Drive innovative solutions to ensure operational excellence, best in class customer service, and continual process improvement is continually realized.

Ideal Candidate will have the following experience.

• 3+ years of experience working as a Network Engineer
• Experience with carrier grade Optical Networks Operations and Equipment.
• DWDM Experience
• Ability to perform under emergency conditions and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with frequent interruptions.
• Utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook programs.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or Relevant Experience
• Technical Network Certification highly preferred (CCNA or CCNP etc.)
