Job Summary:

Responsible for ensuring that all preparation of all required baked goods is conducted and prepared in accordance with specifications and standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Responsible for preparing all baked goods for venue operations, according to department quality specs and recipes. Ensures final baked goods' preparation is in compliance with Paragon Casino Resort standards. Assists in maintaining standards of health, safety, and sanitation. Participates as a team member with Cooks and Supervisor employees in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation that meets the high standards. Responsible for creating new recipes. Maintains quality, cost, waste, and distribution of all foods produced. Maintains cleanliness and ensures ServSafe guidelines are being followed by all employees. Responsible for ensuring that all bakery products are supplied to all venues. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

High volume scratch baking preferred. Detailed oriented, punctual, and reliable. Ability to work independently.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED Two (2) years of baking experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. Employees must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds.
