Skills Required:

Knowledge of the market area for the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed hotel revenue targets.
Identify new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, industry events,
and partnerships.
Manage and grow relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners,
and other key accounts.
Conduct site visits, sales presentations, and client negotiations.
Work closely with the marketing team to execute promotions and campaigns that drive
bookings.
Collaborate with operations and revenue management to ensure client satisfaction and
rate optimization.
Monitor sales performance using KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior
management.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, contracts, and sales
activities in the Delphi system.
Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the hotel
and attract business.
Qualifications
:
2+ years of experience in hotel sales or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of local and regional market trends.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Fosse.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Flexible schedule, including availability to be on call weekends and evenings as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with group sales, corporate accounts, and event planning.
Familiarity with hotel revenue management principles.
College Degree or equivalent work experience.
Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
Experience in selling select service brands, Marriott preferred.
