Summary

As a Direct Support Professional at Ultimate Beginnings, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily activities. This position is essential for fostering a safe and nurturing environment that encourages personal growth and independence.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks. Monitor and document client health and behavior, ensuring any changes are reported promptly. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being. Implement individualized support plans tailored to each client's needs. Assist clients in participating in community activities and social events. Ensure a safe living environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in caregiving or healthcare preferred. Strong skills in patient care, monitoring, and observation. Ability to lift heavy objects as needed for client assistance. Compassionate attitude towards individuals with developmental disabilities. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
