We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. Duties

Provide personal care and support to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities. Assist with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs. Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering positive relationships with clients. Perform patient observation to monitor health and well-being, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel. Help clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring as needed. Support clients in engaging in community activities and social interactions. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are met. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to create individualized care plans.

Qualifications

Experience in home health, senior care, or hospice care is preferred but not required. Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Strong cooking skills and ability to prepare meals that meet specific dietary requirements. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. Ability to lift and assist clients as needed while ensuring their safety. Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care. Certification or training in relevant fields (such as CPR or first aid) is a plus but not mandatory.
