The Economic Services Administration (ESA), Division of Child Support (DCS) is currently seeking a
Support Enforcement Technician
to join our customer service team in Yakima. This role will be a full time position that requires an in-office presence 8am - 5pm Monday-Friday.
Some of what you'll do:
Compile, screen, research, and verify information necessary to respond to information requests
Refer customers to appropriate internal or external contacts following established procedures
Research and enter data into Division of Child Support (DCS) computer systems
Meet production goals as established by the work unit
Interact with a diverse clientele, including individuals who may be emotionally charged, difficult, hostile, or angry
Operate state-of-the-art imaging equipment and related software to process and store records
Coordinate services with outside vendors and prepare legal documents for service on employers and clients
Accept and process payments, documents, and incoming mail, ensuring accurate handling and distribution

Proficient in keyboarding and Microsoft Windows programs for data entry and documentation
Who should apply?
We are searching for professionals with:
Two years of college level coursework
OR
Two years of customer service related experience within a program and/or services related to research, investigation, auditing, writing, reporting, administration, law enforcement, community relations, or allied field
OR
An equivalent combination of education and related experience, totaling two years
