Job Summary:

The Drywall Finisher is a critical member of our construction team, responsible for achieving the highest level of wall and ceiling finishes on commercial projects. This position requires precision, craftsmanship, and deep experience with finishing tools and materials. Responsibilities:

Perform all phases of drywall finishing, including taping, mudding, sanding, texturing, and touch-ups to ensure a flawless, paint-ready surface.

Operate hand and automatic finishing tools (tapers, flat boxes, corner finishers, etc.) with skill and efficiency.

Perform caulking, patching, and surface preparation as needed for finishing and painting.

Apply primer, coatings, and paint using brushes, rollers, and airless sprayers; must be able to properly set up, operate, and clean spray equipment.

Match textures and finishes across surfaces to ensure uniform quality.

Inspect surfaces, correct imperfections, and ensure compliance with company and client standards.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all OSHA and company safety protocols.

Communicate proactively with foremen and project managers regarding material needs, timelines, and challenges.

Travel as needed to various job sites; reliable transportation is required.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher in commercial construction.

Advanced skills in drywall finishing and texturing using both hand and automatic tools.

Proficiency in caulking and painting, including proper operation of sprayers.

Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes.

Reliable transportation and ability to work on multiple job sites.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.

Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills.

Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and professionalism on every job.

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of drywall finishing experience on commercial projects.

Experience with Level 5 finishes and high-end surface applications.

Familiarity with framing, drywall hanging, and finish carpentry is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.10 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
