Overview

Scrub A Duct is 14 years and growing. We are seeking a skilled, Dryer Duct Technician to join our team, specializing in the installation, repair, and cleaning of dryer ducts. This role is vital in ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in ductwork services, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship. New hires are paired with an expert technician and typically trained between 1-3 months based on experience. When you are fully trained, you will be given your own vehicle, tools, and your own service route.

Duties

Install new dryer ducts according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards Perform thorough cleaning of existing dryer ducts to remove lint buildup and ensure optimal airflow Conduct repairs on damaged or malfunctioning duct systems to restore proper operation Inspect ductwork for leaks, obstructions, or hazards and recommend appropriate solutions Use specialized tools and equipment safely and effectively during installation, cleaning, and repair processes Provide professional advice to clients regarding maintenance best practices and safety precautions Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used for each job Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations during every task

Requirements

Proven experience in installing, repairing, or cleaning dryer ducts or related HVAC/ventilation systems Knowledge of local building codes and safety standards related to ductwork installation and maintenance Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, climbing ladders (must be able to lift up to 65lbs / carry a 28ft ladder), and working in confined spaces. Valid driver's license with a 3-year clean driving record. Must be available Monday thru Friday, 8 shift. Must have a smart phone. Reliable transportation to job sites across various locations Commitment to customer service excellence and professionalism
