About the Position
We are seeking skilled and reliable
Drone Pilots
with a minimum of
2 years of surveillance and security experience
to support our aerial security operations team. The ideal candidate is mission-focused, professional in demeanor, detail-oriented, and able to operate unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all FAA regulations. Must be able to work with a team and troubleshoot challenges in real time.
This role involves executing scheduled and on-demand security flights, capturing high-quality footage, monitoring sensitive areas, and providing situational awareness to security leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Operate drones for surveillance, security monitoring, and site assessments.
Conduct routine and emergency flight missions as assigned.
Capture, review, and report on aerial footage for security analysis.
Maintain UAS equipment, batteries, sensors, and software updates.
Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks to ensure safe operations.
Comply with all FAA Part 107 regulations and organizational policies.
Work closely with the security team to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and unusual activity.
Maintain detailed logs and documentation for all flight operations.
Assist with mission planning, mapping, and airspace safety assessments.
Minimum Qualifications
FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (Required)
Minimum 2 years of drone flight experience focused on surveillance and security
Proficiency in operating multi-rotor drones equipped with thermal, zoom, or low-light cameras
Strong understanding of airspace rules, safety protocols, and emergency procedures
Ability to interpret aerial data and communicate findings clearly
Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in outdoor environments and variable weather conditions
Must be able to qualify for a Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) card and have an insurable driving record
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and transport equipment when needed
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting law enforcement, construction, critical infrastructure, or private security operations
