Duties

Operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized vehicles to transport freight across designated routes. Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Drive in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies, maintaining a clean driving record at all times. Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing fuel efficiency and adhering to delivery schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, load manifests, and other required documentation. Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries seamlessly.

Qualifications

Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving roles with a strong safety record. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type being operated. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Familiarity with handling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable. Knowledge of load securing techniques for freight including freight handling for different types of cargo such as refrigerated goods or hazardous materials (if applicable). Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks. Strong navigation skills with experience in route planning for efficient deliveries. Physical ability to load/unload freight manually or with equipment like forklifts when needed. Join us in delivering excellence on the road!
