Job Summary:

A & F Transportation Service is seeking dedicated and compassionate Specialists to join our team. The ideal candidates must possess a strong background in family social services and a passion for supporting vulnerable populations. This role is crucial in providing transportation, supervision visitation and documentation services set forth by the Department of Children and Family Services. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for children's welfare and making a positive impact in family reunification.

Responsibilities:

-Transport DCFS children to and from scheduled visitations and appointments. Case Monitoring is required.

- Willing to drive over 30 miles. throughout Cook, Central & Northern Illinois.

- Focus on helping the child(ren) and parents(s) participate in appropriate activities; modeling desire parenting skills, observing parent(s) and child(ren) interactions.

- Help to structure the visit to allow a positive closure.

- Completely document the visitation on the appropriate form for each visit.

- Completely document any missed visits on the appropriate form for each

scheduled visit.

- Maintain accurate records and reports of client interactions and progress

- Participate in regular training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in the field

- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances

Experience:

- High School Diploma or GED

- 21 years of age or older

- 1 year or more of experience in Child Welfare preferred but not required

- Pass DCFS Finger Print and Background Check

- 2 years driving experience

- Currently holds a valid driver's license, which has not been revoked or suspended for one or more traffic violations during the 3 years immediately prior to the date of application

- Provide own vehicle, vehicle inspection, vehicle insurance (Declaration Page), vehicle registration

- Have not been convicted of more than 2 offenses against traffic regulations governing the movement of vehicles within a twelve-month period

- COVID-19 considerations: Mask are required during visits.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $3,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
