Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and the ability to effectively communicate with students of various backgrounds. This role involves educating students in a classroom setting, utilizing effective classroom management techniques, and driving student engagement through innovative teaching methods.

Duties

Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Manage classroom dynamics to create an inclusive and respectful environment conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with students, providing clear instructions and constructive feedback. Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration. Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices. Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, strategies, and insights for improving educational outcomes.

Requirements

Proven experience in classroom management and working with students in an educational setting. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with adult learners. Knowledge of adult education principles is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to drive student motivation through innovative teaching techniques and approaches. A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that promotes respect, diversity, and inclusion. Relevant educational qualifications or certifications in teaching or related fields are advantageous. Must be a current licensed Driving Instructor for the state of Maine

Job Type: Contract
