Overview

We are seeking a professional and dependable Driver/Errand Runner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a professional appearance and demeanor, and excellent interpersonal/communication skills. The Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely service and maintaining high safety standards. Responsibilities

Transportation:

Safely drive clients to various destinations, such as appointments, airports, or meetings.

Errand Running:

Perform tasks like grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning or prescriptions, and mailing packages.

Logistics:

Plan and optimize routes by checking traffic and weather conditions. Manage schedules and adapt to last-minute changes.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Keep the vehicle clean and fueled. Report mechanical or maintenance issues to Security Chief timely and if instructed, schedule professional servicing as needed.

Record Keeping:

Maintain a detailed record of errands completed, mileage, and expenses.

Client Support:

Assist with tasks like carrying luggage or packages and performing light administrative duties if required.

Confidentiality:

Handle sensitive information discreetly and protect client confidentiality.

Communication:

Communicate effectively with supervisor, clients, or team members regarding schedules or issues encountered during routes.

Safety:

Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe transportation at all times.

Other:

Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including moving freight or equipment within facilities.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial driving, route driving, or delivery operations. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients. Ability to handle physical tasks including loading/unloading cargo and moving items within warehouses or yards. Clean driving record with no recent violations; background checks will be required. Flexibility to work various shifts depending on operational needs; some roles may require early mornings or late evenings. Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
