Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable Driver with experience in shipping and receiving. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of metal finishing processes for writing up shop orders, but we are willing to train the right person. Driver's main responsibility is pickup and delivery of customer orders with the company van, order fulfillment, and accurate paperwork processing. CDL not required. This job has an immediate start date.

Responsibilities:

Safely transport materials and products to and from designated locations. Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including loading/unloading and inventory checks. Assist with basic metal finishing order preparation as needed. Accurate intake of customer orders is imperative, including part count and required specification.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and move part orders up to 70 lbs. unassisted. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn technical processes. Ability to clearly write up shop orders and process requirements.

Preferred:

Knowledge of metal finishing processes helpful (training provided if needed). Forklift experience or certification preferred. Blueprint and (MIL-SPEC) specification knowledge is helpful.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
