Truck Team Member - Driver / Labor / Customer Service
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Wages: $24 an hour plus bonus
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Worker\'s Comp
Hours of Operation: Shifts start on the hour starting at 5:00am with the latest shift starting at 12:00pm.

We are a customer service company that happens to pick up Junk (unwanted items from customers). To provide the best customer service we pride ourselves on punctuality and to do this we need to make sure our Truck Team Members are set up with success by having empty trucks to fit customer items. That is where YOU come in!

We are now hiring primarily for a driver who will drive trucks full of JUNK to our office to divert as much of its contents for recycling as possible before emptying the truck at transfer centers. After the truck is emptied the driver would then be directed by an Operation Manager to drive the truck to a location where it is needed most. This action will be repeated as many times as possible throughout the day in order to help as many customers as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving: +/- 8 hours/day driving
• Truck Operations: Safe operation of the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Trucks
• Junk Diversion: Recognize donatable items, recyclables, and items of want for diversion from sorting facilities to be reused by those in need.
• Marketing: Enthusiastically advocate for our brand to all you meet and encounter - from Guerilla Marketing to promotion.
• Safety: Commitment to the safe and professional Navigation and driving of trucks and intelligent and efficient loading & unloading of customers belongings.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to drive for over 1 hour at a time consistently.
• Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather.

You must:

• Have a valid driver\'s license, reliable transportation and a clean driving record. Absolutely no DUIs.
• Be able to work weekends, holidays and all weekdays (at least 4 - 5 days a week)
• Be able to work full days (ie. 8 - 10 hours per day on average)
• Be Drug free - we are a drug free workplace
