Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized

Driver Payroll and Billing Specialist

to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate and timely driver payroll and billing processes. This role requires proficiency in multiple software systems, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of the payroll process. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our drivers, the backbone of our organization, as well as maintaining efficient billing operations.

Responsibilities

*Process weekly driver payroll

*Process freight billing

*Collect and assure quality of driver paperwork submissions

*Scan and index billing paperwork

*Address driver inquiries and other correspondence

*Research and collect delinquent accounts

Requirements

*Transportation industry billing experience highly preferred

*Prior payroll experience or exposure in the transportation industry preferred

*Positive attitude and willingness to take on whatever task is necessary to support coworkers

*Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - these are critical requirements

*Associate degree in accounting, or relevant, comparable experience

*Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
