We are seeking reliable and experienced Driver (Independent Contractor) to join our team. This role involves transporting goods and materials efficiently and safely across various locations. Responsibilities

Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries across designated areas. Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly during transit. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational safety. Communicate effectively with clients and dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered on the road. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance logs. Adhere to all legal requirements related to driving licences, permits, and health & safety standards.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery roles, with a strong understanding of road safety regulations. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with flatbed vehicles is preferred. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous for loading/unloading operations. Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and team members effectively. Ability to navigate using GPS devices or maps efficiently.

Pay: $700.00 - $750.00 per week
