Duties

Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver goods across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts, ensuring items are secured properly for transit Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to confirm it is in optimal condition before each shift Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, organizing storage areas, and maintaining cleanliness Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups Follow route schedules precisely to ensure timely deliveries while managing multiple stops efficiently Handle heavy lifting of packages or equipment as required, demonstrating physical stamina and proper lifting techniques Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs of loads delivered or picked up, and report any issues promptly Support team members with additional tasks such as assisting in loading/unloading at the warehouse or courier activities as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience using box trucks or similar vehicles Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory depending on the vehicle type Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and safe driving practices Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly throughout the shift Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients and team members Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving, loading/unloading cargo, and warehouse operations Excellent organizational skills to manage route schedules and delivery documentation efficiently

Pay: $20.25 - $24.21 per hour
