What You'll Be Doing

Operate dredge equipment to extract sand and gravel safely and efficiently. Monitor dredging operations and adjust equipment to maintain optimal performance. Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on dredge machinery. Record production data and report any equipment issues or safety concerns. Collaborate with plant personnel to ensure smooth day shift operations

Proven ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner. Strong attention to detail and situational awareness in dynamic environments. Willingness to learn and follow operational procedures and safety protocols. Capability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to perform tasks in outdoor and water-based settings.

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level

Physical Demands of the Job:

Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift materials up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift. Manual dexterity to operate dredge controls and perform equipment maintenance. Visual and auditory ability to monitor equipment and surroundings for safety. Capability to work on or near water, including climbing on floating platforms. Endurance to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions.
