The Williston Central School Drama department is seeking a part time Producer to work with the current Artistic Team on their next musical production. This is a category B, K-8 co-curricular stipend position.
The Producer will:
Collaborate with the Director and other members of the Artistic Team to produce the school musical April 9-11 2025.
Attend 1 or 2 pre-production meetings beginning in late November
Co-organize and attend parent/student information night in early December
Update production website in Google Sites in collaboration with Director
Create casting template spreadsheet
Sit on casting panel along with Director and other team members late December
As needed, liaise with school and staff on behalf of Drama production
Oversee parent volunteers to ensure that volunteer tasks are assigned and will be completed
Handle all aspects of ticket sales, program advertising, and program creation
Schedule space usage needed by production
Attend rehearsals as needed for behavior and expectation reinforcement
Highly organized
Proficient at Google sheets, Google sites
Bachelors preferred
Strong preference = experience in school environment and previous musical experience
This is an extracurricular stipend activity. The rate will be based on experience.
