Job Description

Exclusive Practice with discreet clientele seeks a motivated, energetic and experienced individual to join our unique practice. The PT plans, directs, and administers the service for clients following current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure the highest degree of quality care at all times. He or she helps restore clients to their previous state of physical fitness after surgery, illness, or accident.

The ideal candidate for this position has a degree from an accredited program in PT, is license to practice Physical Therapy in this state, and at least five years of experience in an outpatient setting. Effective oral and written skills, time management skills, professional dress, team player approach and positive attitude are required for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Establishes a treatment plan. Treats clients to relieve pain through manual skills, Develops or restores function and maintain maximum performance using therapeutic means. Teaches, supervises and counsels the patient in a PT program. Records on a timely basis all evaluation data, treatments, and patient's response to therapy intervention. Instructs PTAs while working with the patient. Participates in staff meetings and in-services. Conducts discharge planning activities and completes a Discharge Summary. Manual skills experience and certification required.
