**STATE PERSONNEL SYSTEM**

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor\'s degree from an accredited college or university; OR four years of relevant work experience; OR an associate\'s degree from an accredited college or university AND two years of relevant work experience; OR at least six months performing the job duties of this position.
Preferences:
  • Experience with BVRSA, CCIS, DAVID, DOC, FVRS, and Voter Focus.
  • Experience investigating or performing legal research of criminal case histories or clemencies, and/or locating and interpreting criminal court documents.
Special Notes:
  • Responses to qualifying questions must be clearly supported in your employment history.
  • It is essential to the function of this position, and the condition of employment, that BVRS employees be available to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed, with short notice.
Duties and Responsibilities:

This is professional, complex work assisting with all administrative, programmatic, and operational activities within the Division of Elections/Bureau of Voter Registration Services (BVRS). This position is responsible for, including but not limited to, the following duties:

Creates and/or reviews comprehensive credible and reliable case files by comparing and analyzing voter demographic information in Florida Voter Registration System (FVRS) with other approved sources to determine voter\'s eligibility to be registered and/or to vote.

Interacts with external agencies on eligibility files by identifying and requesting for further analysis additional needed information from Clerks of Courts, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Florida Department of Corrections (DOC), Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV), and other County, State, and Federal resources.

Maintains a working knowledge of FVRS, BVRSA (internal application program), DOC\'s Corrections Offender Network website, the Florida Clerk of Court\'s Comprehensive Case Information System (CCIS), Florida Commission on Offender Review (FCOR) Restoration of Civil Rights website, DHSMV\'s Driver and Vehicle Information Database (DAVID), county Clerk of Courts websites, Florida Statutes, and other relevant State and Federal criminal justice and research databases or websites.

Performs other analytical work-related duties as required.
