Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Door Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining safety and security protocols. This role requires a keen sense of observation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage conflicts effectively. A background in law enforcement or security is preferred.

Duties

Greet guests and visitors with a friendly demeanor, providing assistance as needed. Scan IDs using an ID scanner and mark individuals upon entry. Monitor entry and exit points to ensure the safety and security of the premises. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify any suspicious activity. Manage conflicts and resolve issues that may arise with guests or visitors. Enforce building policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor. Provide first aid or CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of all individuals on the premises. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required. Maintain accurate records of incidents and daily activities for reporting purposes.

Experience

Previous experience in loss prevention, security, or law enforcement is highly desirable. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; additional training in conflict management and surveillance techniques is a plus. Familiarity with CCTV operations and monitoring systems is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people. A militarized background may be beneficial but is not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
