We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Door Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts, and a commitment to safety protocols. The Door Person will serve as the first point of contact, ensuring that all individuals entering the premises are greeted warmly while also monitoring for any potential security concerns.

Responsibilities

Greet all guests and visitors with professionalism and courtesy. Monitor entry and exit points to ensure security protocols are followed. Conduct regular surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems. Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, utilizing first aid and CPR skills as necessary. Manage conflicts effectively, de-escalating situations when required. Collaborate with law enforcement and security personnel as needed for enhanced safety measures. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior or activities. Maintain accurate logs of incidents, visitor entries, and other relevant information.

Qualifications

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and conflict management techniques is essential. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong observational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact positively with diverse individuals. Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergency situations. Job Type: Part-time

Base Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
