This fast-paced full-time position is based out of our Auburn, Washington branch and covers the I5 corridor. This position is primarily working on-site at client's locations. As a
Warehouse Product Field Technician
at Mid Columbia Forklift, you'll be at the forefront of serving both new and long-standing customers--ensuring their equipment is running at its very best. In this critical role, you'll:
Travel to client sites to install and maintain cutting-edge warehouse equipment
Respond quickly and effectively to service requests
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with confidence
Provide hands-on training and support to customers on our warehouse products and installations
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EXPECTATIONS
Required:
Maintains a great attitude towards continuously improving & enjoys being part of a team.
Maintains strong relationships with our internal and external customers.
Physically fit and able to work with heavy material- dock and door components.
Have some construction knowledge of steel and wood framed buildings.
Excellent time management skills.
Mechanical and electrical (low voltage) skills.
Ability to problem-solve.
Clear communicator with the ability to explain and train customers on equipment and processes.
Military experience a plus
High school diploma or GED
Three to Five year plus of experience is highly desired.
Ability to pass a Washington state background check and Motor Vehicle Record check required.
Responsibilities:
Responding to customer callouts and field dispatches.
Meeting with the customer to determine the nature of the service or repair.
Conducting routine equipment servicing out in the field.
Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment failures.
Repairing equipment and replacing faulty parts.
Provide preventive equipment maintenance.
Provide technical training on new equipment installations.
Maintaining equipment in company vehicle.
Maintain/control of parts inventory in company vehicle.
Completing job reports.
Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support personnel with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
"Develop & Build up" the Warehouse Installation and Technical professional skill set, and experience required to be highly successful overtime.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Job Type: Full-time, 8-hour shift M-F.
Pay: $25.00 -$35.00 per hour
