Overview

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Donut Maker to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, baking, and pastry arts, with a focus on creating high-quality donuts that delight our customers. Duties

Prepare and cook donut batter using established recipes and techniques, ensuring consistency and quality. Decorate donuts with icing, sprinkles, and other toppings using cake decorating skills to create visually appealing products. Package donuts efficiently for retail sale or catering orders while maintaining hygiene standards. Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, fryers, ovens, and knives safely and effectively. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols throughout the shift. Assist with inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and restocking supplies as needed. Support the team in food production tasks related to baking, pastry preparation, and other baked goods. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers when necessary and ensuring their satisfaction with our products.

Experience

Prior experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts is preferred. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices is essential. Experience working in a bakery, restaurant, catering service, or food production environment is highly desirable. Skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment operation are beneficial. Familiarity with food industry regulations and culinary standards will support success in this role. Previous experience with knife skills, food safety procedures, and packaging processes will be advantageous for candidates seeking to excel as a Donut Maker.
Pay: $17.50 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 - 35.0 per week
