Donation Pick Up Driver

The Lawton Food Bank (LFB) Driver will be responsible for picking up donations regularly from our retail partners Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, as well as cultivating and maintaining a professional relationship with these retail partners. The driver will be responsible for the pickup, loading and downloading, sorting, storing, and recording of all donations from our retail partners, as well as local food drives. They will be responsible for keeping proper records for all pickups. Secondary duties will include assisting with food distribution and the overall organization and upkeep of the warehouse.

This position is Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 7:30am - 2:30pm.

Responsibilities:

Driving the company box truck to pick up donations Loading, unloading, sorting, storing, and recording pickups Updating daily and monthly reports Warehouse organization and upkeep Assisting with food distribution Communicate efficiently with clients, staff, donors, and partners Build and maintain professional relationships Participate in training sessions, staff meetings, and other professional development opportunities as required
Qualifications:

Valid, unrestricted driver's license Real ID or passport for Fort Sill access Warehouse experience Must be able to lift 75 or more pounds Experience operating a pallet jack (plus) Forklift experience (plus) The ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds with respect and empathy

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
