1. Ensure that all donors receive world class customer service.
a. Receive and, as appropriate, politely decline donations from the public in accordance with established guidelines.
b. Provide all donors with access to a receipt in accordance with established guidelines.
2. Ensure that all donations are identified and sorted for further processing in accordance with established guidelines.
3. Ensure opening and closing of facility as required.
4. Supervision of team members, including performance of basic human resource and payroll functions, training, and assignment of duties.
5. Maintain regular communication with regional management to ensure timely pickup and delivery materials/equipment.
6. Other duties, as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Any combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the job.
PREFERRED:
High school diploma or GED. Some supervisory experience.
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES: REQUIRED:
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work with others collaboratively to achieve a shared
goal. Ability to master all aspects of Goodwill donation processing.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires standing and walking and occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, bending, and reaching with hands and arms. Requires frequent lifting and moving of heavy items up to 40 pounds.
May be required to stand for entire shift.
MENTAL DEMANDS:
Requires energetic, team-oriented individual with a positive "can-do" attitude and an ability to understand, accept and work with people who have disabilities and/or other barriers to employment.
Need to be able to identify different materials included in donations.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Mix of donation and warehouse/production environments. Usually fast-paced.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and values that reflect the organization's mission and values.
Must always maintain professional standards of behavior, attitude, and appearance.
Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, extended hours and holidays.
Must pass a background check.

donation site, including overall image, staff supervision, customer service, security, and efficient
processing of donations received from the public
