Responsibilities

Supervise dogs during indoor and outdoor play sessions, ensuring safe interactions and preventing conflicts Assist with dog training activities to promote good behavior and socialization skills Handle dogs with care using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff Monitor dog health and behavior, recognizing signs of distress or illness, and communicate concerns to veterinary professionals as needed Maintain cleanliness of the play areas and Kennels to uphold hygiene standards Engage in heavy lifting when necessary for moving supplies or assisting with larger dogs Deliver excellent customer service by addressing pet owner questions and providing updates on their pets' activities and well-being

Qualifications

Prior experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or kennel work is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Familiarity with animal behavior management and handling multiple dogs simultaneously Passion for animals with a genuine enthusiasm for providing top-quality pet care

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
