Locally owned and operated since 2009, Queen City Pet Sitting is a customer-centered pet-sitting and dog-walking company that believes pets are family. We are seeking dedicated and passionate Dog Walkers and Pet Sitters to join our team.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care for dogs, cats, and small pets during walks and pet-sitting visits Walk, exercise, feed, and medicate pets as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being Maintain open communication with clients and update management on pet behavior or concerns Follow assigned schedules with punctuality and reliability, managing time across multiple clients Use a smartphone and our scheduling app to manage visits and communicate before, during, and after services Safely handle pets of various sizes and represent the company professionally during all interactions

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

For one or more of the following schedules:

Midday Dog Walks (Mon-Fri)

Morning & Evening Pet Sitting Visits (Mon-Fri)

Overnight Stays + 1 midday visit

Boarding dogs (in sitter's home)

Technology & Transportation:

Have a

working smartphone

(iOS or Android)

Valid driver's license

&

reliable personal transportation

Skills & Experience:

Prior experience caring for & walking dogs (personal or professional) Passion for and

compassion toward all pets

Able to

comfortably walk and control dogs

up to

40 lbs

, including walking

two dogs at a time

Strong

time management

and ability to work

independently

Ability to pass a

background check

(Bonus Qualifications - Not Required but helpful)

Comfortable with

heavy lifting

(e.g., assisting senior or injured pets) Experience administering shots / medicine
